He's owned the truck since 1976, and says he's kept detailed service records since that time. The truck features an overhauled 428-cu.in. V-8 and other updates to make it a better hauler on the road, and includes a matching trailer made from a 1966 Ford F-Series. The truck was originally equipped with a 390, but in 2000, the seller opted for a 428-cu.in. OHV V-8 with headers, an aluminum intake, and a four-barrel carburetor. The engine was overhauled in 2010. - that the engine has a manual choke and fires up instantly, with no smoke. The engine is paired with a four-speed manual transmission with a Gear Vendors overdrive.- that the transmission shifts like a charm, with no noise or vibration, and that the overdrive functions well. The doors are steel and painted Wimbledon white, with red vinyl inserts around the window and door levers. The armrests appear to be undamaged. The dash has a pad, which is protected by a carpeted mat, and there is no visible damage in the photos. The metal portions are painted Rangoon Red, and the instrument cluster has the original engine-turned finish. All of the stock gauges are present, but the seller has added an auxiliary oil pressure gauge, and a tachometer, along with a trailer brake controller.- that all the gauges work.
