 Description
An immediate postwar-era pickup whose seller says has absolutely no rust, this 1946 International Harvester K1 pickup has been reimagined as a street rod by using the frame, powertrain and cab interior from a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup.- that the truck's odometer reading of fewer than 11,000 miles is accurate. Said to have been built 's late cousin during the mid-1990s, the International's fenders are reported to have been slightly radiused to accommodate larger tires and wheels, along with modified door hinges, flush door handles and a custom, International-themed tailgate with the company's three-diamonds logo. - the K1 has functional air conditioning. This K1 is powered by a Dodge 318-cu.in. OHV V-8 sourced from a 1994 Dodge Ram pickup. With a compression ratio of 9.1:1, the engine received its fuel mixture via multi-point fuel injection and was  rated by the manufacturer at 230 horsepower when new, with 295 lb-ft of torque.- this K1's engine has no rebuild history and has 11,343 actual miles. The cold start is termed perfect, with no smoke observed. The functionality of the four-speed automatic transmission is described as good. No powertrain leaks are noted. The engine bay presents as clean. The black paint reportedly dates to the mid-1990s and is described as being in very good overall condition, with the seller listing a few nicks as blemishes, and no dents. The cab seals are reported to be in excellent condition. The truck's cargo bed is covered by a tonneau.- that the front fenders are  slightly flared and that the rear fenders have been widened by several inches to accommodate the frame transplant. The K1 is fitted with modified door hinges and flush door handles have been installed. The tailgate bears a custom three-diamond International logo. - the truck has absolutely no rust. The glass is described as excellent, and all lights are said to work. The underside presents as very clean, with minimal surface corrosion - The cab has full interior fittings from the 1994 Dodge Ram, with the cloth materials described as excellent. The seating areas show no damage. The carpeting is termed very good, with no visibly worn spots. The headliner is described as excellent, with functional dome lighting. The replacement Dodge dashboard shows no damage, and all instruments, including the 1994 Dodge audio system, are described as being in proper working order. The power windows, power locks, air conditioning and heater are all said to work properly. -- the entire driveline and chassis from a 1994 Dodge Ram has been installed under the K1, remains in stock condition, and has traveled about 4,000 miles since the build. The shock absorbers and bushings  are described as excellent. No issues with the power front-disc/rear-drum brakes are noted; they are said to be capable of locking the wheels. The chrome Dodge Ram wheels show no damage. They mount Cooper SRM tires that are reported to have covered 4,000 miles. Their DOT date codes cannot be determined from the photos. Additional paperwork includes documentation showing the purchase of the Dodge donor chassis and driveline from a salvage auction.
