1977 Morgan Plus 8 Roadster

1977 Morgan Plus 8 RoadsterAbsolutely gorgeous Morgan plus 8 with the 3.5l V8 and first year for the 5 speed transmission. Previous owner, a leading light in the Ohio Morgan Owners Club, had this car for 37 years in Cincinnati so lots of history. The car has had a good tune up this spring with all fluids changed and new tires, brakes, wing mirrors, windshield washer system, bonnet strap, carpets, interior refurb etc. It starts first turn of the key and runs very strong. The all weather equipment, side windows and tonneau are all in truly first class condition. The paint is older but still has a great shine to it, there are some minor scratches and touch up areas but very presentable. Very solid underneath, no rust issues. The Plus 8 is a very rare model to find and is appreciating. Just FYI, the signature on the dashboard is from Richard Shepherd-Barron, who was the driver on a 2 Liter Morgan in the 1962 Le Mans 24hr race. He and his co-driver not only won their 2 L class, but also came 13th overall, averaging 93mph for 24 hrs, including pit stops.
