1938 Buick 40 Special 4 door sedan

1938 Buick Special; 4 door sedanRuns and drives as it should. Presents well with older repaint, re-upholstery, and mechanical rebuild, including engine.Exterior; Black repaint presents well, along with new windshield glass and gaskets, rear window glass and gaskets, front door windwing glass and rear windwing glass. New runningboard covers also installed. Chrome hardware re-plated or very presentable. Interior; Older re-upholstery, (brown and beige), in very good condition. Dash is complete with all hardware and working gauges. All window cranks and door handles are present and work well.Mechanical; Engine rebuilt with insert rods and new pistons. Carburetor, distributor, water pump, generator, and starter were all rebuilt. Transmission rebuilt with new bearings and gears. New front wheel bearings installed. Brake system completely rebuilt starting with a new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, relined shoes, and new brakes lines. New hand-brake cables also installed as were new rear shocks.Other; Windshield wipers complete, not working at this time. Headlites converted to sealed beam, not original.  Directionals added. Front floor-mat new but not original style. Some exterior paint chips and scratches. Accessory oil gauge and temp gauge added.
