This car has just about every available option at the time, including power seats, a power convertible top powered by the original 500 cui engine, and turbo hydromatic transmission, which shifts flawlessly. As rare as it is to find survivors, it's even more rare to see them in this condition.A History Steeped in Luxury:Delivered on the 8th of May, 1975, this Cadillac Eldorado Convertible boasts a rich history of luxury and fine craftsmanship. The original delivery document is a testament to its well-cared-for heritage, adding a touch of nostalgia to this automotive masterpiece.Rejuvenated and Maintained:This Eldorado has been thoughtfully gone over and maintained over the years, ensuring that its performance matches its striking appearance. The low miles on the odometer and service records speak to the careful use and enjoyment by previous owners, who have taken the utmost care to keep it in peak condition. The 8-Track radio works; some sound is coming from the original speakers. The station indicator fell over and is not visible. The Cruise Control lights up on the dash panel, but the cruise control does not work. The cable that operates the driver's side remote mirror is in the door but broken'the passenger-side remote works as expected. There is a new rear window with the defroster hooked up. The Rear Defroster light is correct when the rear defroster is engaged. It's summer here in the Carolinas. We can't confirm if ice actually melts ice. The rear automatic headlight dimmer is functional. However, the casing that holds it to the back of the rear seat is missing. All electric windows, door locks, and seat adjustments work as expected. The driver's side door pull handle is missing the plastic cover. The climate control module vacuum parts have been replaced. Cadillac Tim refreshed the vacuum control module in the dash. A new top motor was installed in 2016. Front and rear brakes were overhauled in October 2016; see attached documentation. The car stops straight as an arrow. All four turbine hubcaps are in great shape. The original spare tire comes with the car. However, the rim was needed for a replacement on the car that was bent.This car's journey through time has seen essential maintenance and upgrades, with bumper fillers repair, front shocks replacement, and a new starter motor, ensuring a smooth and reliable ride. Regular oil changes, a carburetor rebuilt at 54,001 miles (replaced under my ownership), and upper and lower radiator hose replacements and belt changes at 54,965 miles ensure that the heart of this Eldorado remains robust and powerful.A Touch of Luxury The New Top:Keeping true to its luxurious roots, the Eldorado has received premium upgrades, including a professionally installed top in summer 2023.
