This 1982 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic 4x4 SUV is a sharp example of the -square body- Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs that have become increasingly popular. When you add bright red paint, a slightly lifted stance, and aggressive tires as seen on this one, it makes for an attractive package.- this Jimmy has a newer engine and a 4-inch suspension lift, along with a new steering shaft and new tires. - the paint is only a few years old and it looks great, in his opinion. - The original engine, per the emissions tag on the radiator brace, was a 305-cu.in. V8. That has since been replaced with a 350-cu.in. OHV V8 crate engine, which has about 10,000 miles of use since its installation. He does admit that the carburetor's choke could use some adjusting for cold starts, but there isn't any smoke on start up. There also aren't any leaks. The provided photos show an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold and exhaust headers. The GM Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 three-speed automatic transmission has been fitted with a B&M shift kit and it -shifts good as it should- in the seller's opinion. The floor-mounted shifter is also a B&M product. The red paint is a -few years old- and it looks great, in the seller's opinion, although he does note some minor swirls and chips.
