1929 Peerless Model 6-81 Deluxe Sedan

Cleveland-based Peerless, which got its start in 1900 building laundry wringers, came to be known as one of the Three Ps of American premium automobiles, the other two being Pierce-Arrow and Packard. Peerless built luxuriant cars until the Depression ended its auto production in 1931. This 1929 Peerless Model 6-81 Deluxe Sedan is one of an estimated 8,318 cars the company produced that year. Evidently restored and repainted to a high standard, this Model 6-81 is described by its seller as having received an award in 2016 from the Antique Automobile Club of America.- the Peerless is fitted with hydraulic brakes, retains its original 6-volt electrical system, and mounts rare solid disc wheels. The car reportedly runs great and , is free of rust. The 6-81 range was powered in 1929 by the Continental-sourced 248-cu.in. L-head inline-six.
