1969 Mercury Cyclone CJ. 428

This 69 Mercury Cyclone CJ is the real deal CJ, 16 in the vin code, saw an extensive restoration during the late 2019/2020 year, all rust was repaired professionally, stripped to bare metal and primed & painted, the paint is Spies-Hecker, in Wembeldon White, The car in painted inside quarters, trunk, under carpets, etc, underside is painted in red oxide, pics will verify, Front fenders treated to special coating on back side. Engine was rebuilt by me, I have been a mechanic for over 50 years, worked for a Lincoln Mercury dealer when these cars were new in the showroom, so I know how these cars were put together, I have had every nut/bolt out myself, Motor is a stock bore 4.13 it showed little to no cylinder wear, crank is still stock not reground to undersize, heads had new guides & valves installed, a Lunati Hydraulic Roller Cam, #20330710, Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Cam. Excellent HO replacement type cam with noticeable torque and HP increases throughout the RPM range, along with behive valve springs, has .559 lift, this cam really is a compliment to the 428, throttle response is very good, exhaust has stock manifolds with X pipe, sounds great. C6 Trans was rebuilt with a 16-1800 stall converter, has correct R code servo, 9- rear also rebuilt with new bearings/clutches & axle bearings,Complete front end rebuild w/new upper/lower control arms/bushings, shocks, sway bar bushings, Original calipers rebuilt, w/new brake pads/hoses, New brake booster/master cylinder.Power steering system rebuild from pump to control valve, new hoses, tie rods, etcNew water pump, original alternator rebuilt with new components, new Ultra Avenger Holley Carburetor.New rear shocks/spring bushings, U-joints, Tires are BFG 245/60R15Inside is new seat covers with new foam on bucket seats, New heater core was replaced while dash was out, all locks and cylinders with matching keys installed.I have driven this car 5-6000 miles since rebuilt with no issues, been on several 100' trips one way. Also have the Deluxe Marti Report
