 Vehicle Description
This 1951 Chevrolet 3100 Series Pickup Street Rod was recently restored with new paint, interior, and rolling stock. Instead of the usual small-block V8 upgrade, this truck is powered by the tried-and-true -Stovebolt- six-cylinder engine that has been rebuilt and detailed. The transmission is also traditional, in the form of a four-speed manual. The half-ton truck has been lowered for a hot rod stance that has been enhanced with American Racing Torq Thrust wheels and low-profile tires. The interior features a black vinyl bench seat and custom door panels. The engine is a 235-cu.in. OHV inline-six that has been rebuilt,- it -starts right away- and doesn't leak.The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator.The transmission is a four-speed manual that , -Works good.-The paint is new, who adds that there is no rust, dents, chips, or scratches.The bed wood was restored and installed with body-colored rub strips.The rolled rear pan is recessed for the license plate and the tailgate letters have been chromed.The glass is free of chips or scratches and the seals don't leak.The wiring is new and all the lights work.The vinyl bench seat upholstery is new along with the carpet and headliner.The door panels have a faux alligator-hide look.The gauges are functional and the windows and locks are manually operated.The truck was lowered with dropped axle.Drum brakes were added to the front axle and the seller calls the brake system -all brand new.-The steering is manual but the seller claims the truck -drives straight down the road.-New shocks were installed -all around.-The polished American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are mounted with P225/50R17 rear tires and 215/50R17 front tires. COMES WITH A clean title in the seller's name.-The truck does not have a radio, heat, or air conditioning.The tires' age wasn't specified and DOT date codes weren't legible in the photos provided. An inspection is recommended prior to driving - This half-ton 1951 Chevrolet 3100 Series Pickup, with the small-rear-window cab, was recently restored.The truck is totally functional and runs well.The custom paint job is new and free of flaws.The truck has been lowered via dropped axle.The original and rebuilt inline-six and four-speed manual transmission are in good working order, in the seller's opinion.
