 Vehicle Description
This 1934 Chevrolet two-door sedan street rod, with the factory trunk, is all steel, has never been wrecked, and received a frame-off restoration. In describing the car, the seller makes frequent use of the word perfect. - , This hot rod is in perfect condition and needs nothing. It is ready for immediate use. It is a blast to own and drive. I hate to sell it, but there are three more cars I want and need space for them. - the engine as a Corvette aluminum block stroker/crate engine with 1,357 miles since it was built. He adds, It runs and drives like a new car, because it pretty much is. The provided photos show an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor on an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, a high-flow air cleaner, HEI distributor, and exhaust headers. - , There are little to no leaks from the engine or transmission. Nothing else leaks. Regarding cold starts, the engine starts immediately, runs perfectly, and does not smoke. The idle is reported to be a little rough because of the racing cam. The transmission, a GM Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 three-speed automatic with a shift kit, is in like new condition with only 1,357 miles on it and it works perfectly, . - the paint as high-quality Master Craft Green in perfect condition overall. It was painted about five years ago and has been garaged most of its life, when not in use. - there are some chips on the kick panels above the running boards from people stepping into the car, but otherwise the exterior is perfect.- there is no rust anywhere and the doors close like a vault door with no drop in the hinges. The tinted glass and seals, including the trunk, are new. - The interior is gray leather with full-range tilting front seats, gray wool mohair carpeting, and seat belts, and is described as in like-new condition. The seller admits that the carpet under the dash needs some work, because of the wiring installation for the $4,000 sound system. New carpet conveys with the car.- the expensive sound system is top of the line, works exceptionally well, and could probably blow out the windows and your ears! - the headliner is perfect, the gauges all work, and the power windows are also in perfect condition. - - the suspension was all new five years ago and has fewer than 1,400 miles on it, so it's in perfect condition in his opinion. - the frame as a boxed racing frame with racing suspension. The front suspension is a Mustang II-style power rack-and-pinion setup with power disc brakes. The 9-inch Ford rear end was narrowed to fit inside the 3-inch wheel tubs. The car has racing suspension with adjustable coilover shocks, traction bars, and a Dana driveshaft. The wheels and tires are in perfect, like-new condition with only 1,357 miles on them and no vibration at any speed. This 1934 Chevrolet two-door sedan street rod comes with a three-ring binder that details the entire buildup. The seller is the fourth owner and says, It has never been raced or abused, and has always been well taken care of since it was new.
