1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition with a Six-Speed – 9K-Mile

As the last of its generation, the 1982 Chevrolet Corvette was offered as a Collector Edition with unique silver-beige paint and matching leather upholstery. These Corvettes had a functional hatchback glass rear window, special wheels, and Collector Edition emblems. V-8 was rated at 200 horsepower, but that number has increased due to the addition of ARF 180 aluminum cylinder heads, a 300-degree camshaft with roller rockers, an aluminum intake manifold, a 600-cfm double-pumper carburetor, MDS HEI ignition, and Doug's Headers. Chevrolet didn't offer a manual transmission in 1982, but the original owner added a Richmond six-speed manual controlled by a Hurst shifter. The clutch is hydraulic. The carburetor has a choke, so the seller reports cold starts are easy and neither the engine nor transmission leak. - the transmission shifts beautifully.
