This so-equipped 1969 Ford Mustang Mach I has less than 50,000 original miles on it, and no filler in its straight body, its seller asserts. He bought it in 2019, but says it's time to let someone else enjoy it. He states that the four-barrel, Ram Air, 335-horsepower, 440-lb-ft of torque, Cobra Jet 428-cu.in. OHV V8 is numbers matching, and he recalls checking the partial VIN on the back of the block when he had the clutch replaced and confirming that it matched the VIN on the body. He didn't get a photo of it, however, and he is unable to access that area now to get one. This engine was upgraded with headers and aftermarket dual exhausts.- that the valve seals were replaced, electronic ignition was added, and the cooling system was flushed, restored, and filled with Evans High Performance Waterless Coolant. The original carburetor was replated and restored and is included in the sale. On cold start, he pulls the choke, starts the engine, then takes it off the choke. Per the included Marti Report, a code-R, 3.25:1-geared, Traction-Lok rear axle was factory issued. New seals were recently installed in it. In 2020, the car's doors and trunk lid were replaced with rust-free parts (those originals are included in the sale), and the body was repainted in its factory hue of code-T5 Candyapple Red with the blackout hood treatment. Front and rear spoilers and rear window louvers are present. There are no blemishes, rust, dents, or scratches, . The windshield and side glass were replaced, the backlite is original, the seals are good, and the exterior lighting functions as designed - Regarding the code-3A black knit vinyl Mach I high-back bucket seats, the seller reports that they remain of good quality with a minor abrasion on the driver's seat, upholstery. The carpet, roof, and interior trim were all deemed good, as were the factory instruments, upgraded steering wheel, and aftermarket gauges and stereo. The heater/defroster works. - In 2020, the suspension was serviced and the front and rear springs and the bushings and shocks were replaced. - all are currently good, as are the refurbished power front disc/rear drum brakes. The 15-inch Chrome Styled Steel wheels are new, and the Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires appear to be DOT dated 2019. There are no leaks or play in the power steering, , and the car rides beautifully for its era. A Marti report is included.
